After dedicating many years to working in every unit of a hospital, Tara Rose knew it was time for a new chapter. She decided to serve as a medical escort, quickly gaining firsthand experience with the many challenges patients face during medical transport. Missed flights, disorganized /chaotic transport routes, poor planning, lack of communication, and insufficient medical information were just some of the issues that left patients and their families feeling vulnerable, frustrated, and uncertain about their care.

Tara knew there had to be a better way to ensure that people needing air transport with medical care could be safely and comfortably transported to their homes or healthcare facilities using commercial or private aircraft from anywhere in the world, at any time.

Driven by her vision, Tara shared her idea with her co-founder, John Naccarelli, a seasoned executive with extensive business experience. Together, they understood that medical patient transport involves more than just the physical relocation of individuals; it requires the comprehensive coordination of numerous moving parts, including medical and logistical elements, all while keeping the human element at the forefront for stress-free medical travel.

With a shared commitment to excellence, Tara and John founded Sky Nurses with a mission to be the most respected, trusted, and recognized medical escort organization in the world.

They pledged to provide the detailed planning necessary for compassionate and affordable air medical escort services, striving to set the global standard for excellence in the industry.

One of the core pillars of Sky Nurses’ mission is their unwavering dedication to training. Recognizing that consistency and excellence in care cannot be achieved without rigorous preparation, they developed a proprietary training system that all clinicians must undergo.

This intensive training ensures that every Sky Nurses clinician is held to the same high standard, no matter where they are in the world. The training program is designed to equip staff with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to handle the unique challenges of air medical transport and medical repatriations, from routine cases to the most complex situations.

By holding their clinicians to these global standards, Sky Nurses guarantees that every patient receives the highest level of care, regardless of the journey’s origin or destination. Their proprietary training system reflects their commitment to excellence and their belief that continuous education is key to maintaining their position as a leader in the industry.

By continuously investing in their people, technology, and processes, Sky Nurses is  determined to revolutionize the way medical transportation is perceived and experienced worldwide.  Sky Nurses is not just a company; it is a commitment to deliver unparalleled care and service to every patient and client, ensuring that they reach their destination with the utmost safety and peace of mind.
