As a military veteran dedicated to selfless service and driven by a passion to “make a difference,” John Naccarelli established Sky Nurses, instilling the core values of integrity, dedication, and compassion built over his extensive career. His military background laid the foundation for the patient-first ethos at the heart of Sky Nurses’ mission to provide safe, seamless medical transport with compassionate care.

His vision is for Sky Nurses to set the global gold standard for air medical transport through an uncompromising patient commitment and meticulous execution. Having identified complex planning, sharp attention to detail, flawless execution, and hands-on management as key success factors, Mr. Naccarelli leads Sky Nurses with a commitment to excellence.

Mr. Naccarelli graduated with a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

Tara Rose, President & Co-Founder of Sky Nurses, brings over 30 years of clinical and managerial excellence to her role as Medical Manager. Tara holds an RN license in several states, including her home state of Florida, as well as a nursing degree.

As medical manager, Tara is the driving force behind innovating and implementing cutting edge policies, Under Tara’s guidance, Sky Nurses has redefined medical travel assistance through a focus on compassionate care. 

Tara championed holistic training programs that develop team members’ technical skills and competencies while cultivating empathy and understanding. This multifaceted approach prepares the Sky Nurses staff to fully support patients, families, and healthcare personnel during transport.

VP - Business Development

Mary Rivera brings over 25 years of experience in business development and start-up operations to the Healthcare Staffing Industry. Her extensive background includes management roles at three major healthcare companies, where she focused on placing registered nurses and allied health professionals. Ms. Rivera’s outstanding relationship- building skills with clients, customers, and team members are widely recognized in the industry, fostering strong connections and collaborations that drive success.

Known for her creative thinking and strategic initiatives, Ms. Rivera excels at identifying areas for improvement within organizations, developing strategies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. She has a keen eye for recognizing the unique strengths of team members and creating opportunities for them to thrive, ultimately leading to increased productivity and job satisfaction.Beyond her professional achievements, Mary is dedicated to her community. She is known for her volunteer work, helping families navigate their financial situations and providing guidance and support.

Danielle Pilla

VP - Operations

Danielle Pilla, VP of Operations at Sky Nurses, graduated from Palm Beach State College with a B.S. in Health Care Management. While working to finance her education, Danielle demonstrated exceptional dedication to her studies, earning both a spot on the Dean’s List and membership in Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society. Upon graduation, Danielle joined Sky Nurses, applying her healthcare management knowledge to her work.

Over the years, she has grown with Sky Nurses, taking on increasing responsibilities. To further enhance her skills and provide the best solutions for Sky Nurses’ clients, Danielle became a travel agent, mastering the intricacies of planning and pricing transports. As Director of Travel Operations, Ms. Pilla oversees Sky Nurses’ team of Logistics Coordinators, ensuring seamless and efficient transport services for clients and patients.Danielle’s dedication extends to her community, where she actively volunteers for Toys for Tots events in Palm Beach County, reflecting Sky Nurses’ commitment to exceptional care and support.

John Brinworth

Director - Foreign National Program

John Brinkworth joined Sky Nurses in April 2018 as Client Services Manager, bringing a wealth of experience from diverse roles in financial services, healthcare staffing, non-profit coordination, and business ownership.

Since completing his education in business management at St. Petersburg College in Florida in 2003, John has built a career focused on exceptional client service .

Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in navigating the complex waters of medical repatriation for undocumented and uninsured foreign nationals. John’s extensive global network, enables him to efficiently coordinate resources and services across borders.His unwavering commitment to client well-being, his ability to untangle complicated cases,coupled with his dedication to finding solutions and providing exceptional support has earned him a reputation as a go-to resource in this complex field.

Dr. Joseph Hubaykah, MD, FCCP

Medical Director

Dr. Joseph Hubaykah, MD, serves as the Medical Director for Sky Nurses, bringing over 38 years of expertise in Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine.

With a commitment to patient care and safety, Dr. Hubaykah ensures excellence in medical transports. His extensive experience in obstructive lung disease and critical care management makes him a valuable asset at Sky Nurses, where he oversees medical escort cases and collaborates with international air ambulance companies.

Based in Zephyrhills, FL, he is affiliated with Bayfront Health Dade City and AdventHealth Zephyrhills, where he plays a pivotal role in respiratory care and critical care medicine.

Dr. Hubaykah graduated from the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine in 1986, followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Hubaykah enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, tending to his garden, and engaging in chess. His dedication to both his profession and personal pursuits underscores his holistic approach to life and patient care.
